The BBT standard is to use They only for Visnu tattva and Sakti-Saktiman. If other tattvas are concerned, or in the group with Visnu tattva members, then lower case.user [418] · 2010-02-07
All glories to Srila Prabhupada! As a matter of personal preference, any reference to Sri Krishna always gets a capital and if His great devotees are included in such reference, so much the better. Like maha prasadam refers to prasadam of the Lord and maha-maha prasadam is the prasadam we honor of the Lord after His pure devotees partake of a portion of it. He likes to have His devotees glorified more than Him so this is one instance where it wouldnt be confusing to do so and makes the reference more relishable.
Hare Krishna

BBT prefers lowercase. If you say: "Prabhupada and Krishna, they are great." That is correct.user [418] · 2010-02-08
All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna!Hare Krishna. i am not sure why BBT is doing it like that. i dont think other religious groups lowercase Lord Jesus or Prophet Muhammad in their scripture. Why should we lowercase Srila Prabhupadas reference? We would be correct to make Srila Prabhupadas reference capitilized both alone or combined with Sri Krishna.
Are they considering it mathetical, that Sri Krishna (1) plus Arjuna (0) makes zero? Mathematically, Srila Prabhupada said everything else is zero but if you put Sri Krishna in front, then you have that number, ie: 0 + 1 = 10, 00 + 1 = 100, etc.
The BBT way of preference makes it seem like combination of great devotees with the holy name of Sri Krishna makes the holy names of Sri Krishna as well as His eternal associates like Sri Arjunaji, as well and the external manifestations of His localized aspect of Sri Guru Paramattma like Srila Prabhupada, appear less significant. That is not Lord Krishnas mood, He runs after the dust of the lotus feet of His pure devotees to purify Himself and the world. Why not increase our appreciation of the significance of Sri Guru? "The lotus feet of our spiritual master are the only way by which we can attain pure devotional service. i bow to his lotus feet with great awe and reverence." "Without the grace of the spiritual master, no one can make any advancement."
So as a matter of personal preference and to solicit favor with the Supreme Lord and His dear, eternal associates, the act of refering to both of Them with capital letters suits some. The Lord, Who is never envious, tells Lord Shiva " One who claims to be My devotee is not My devotee, but one who claims to be the devotee of My devotee is My devotee." Srila Prabhupada also said, "Krishna is never alone."
Those who are anxious to appreciate Lord Krishna and wish to enter into Lord Krishnas samsara sing Sri Nagar Kirtan-Nadiya Godrume- by Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur. "Sri Krishna is Father, Sri Krishna is Mother, Sri Krishna is Friend, Sri Krishna is Lord of my heart, Sri Krishna is everything. This is the essence of all dharma: jive doya, krsna-nam. Completely surrender unto the Holy Name of Sri Krishna and shower mercy on all the jivas, seeing them as Sri Krishnas. They are Sri Krishnas, yes. Fragmental part and parcel of Sri Krishna. Mamaivamso jiva-loke. They are Sri Krishnas. They are not there for your enjoyment, baba. That is Krishna samsara koro. Dont involve yourself in maya samsara. Completely involve yourself in Krishna samsara, guru samsara, guru eva samsara."

Maah!I took part in the publishing and printing of Srila Prabhupadas books -- from receiving the tapes he dictated --- to the typesetting -- to layout -- to proofreading and editing --- to galleys --- to the printing press --- and nothing ever went to press without Srila Prabhupadas approval. (of course, Im talking about the books before the changes were made). All the punctuation and grammar and spellings were taught to us and approved by him so all that you just wrote above is coming from your, albeit well-intentioned, mental speculation. What do you think the first B in BBT stands for? Do you think Prabhupada did not notice all these things? So either you are telling us that no, Prabhupada was not aware of how we were using capitalization; or that he was aware but he was wrong in his usage of lower and upper case when it came to pronouns referencing the Lord along with His devotees.
I think perhaps you intellectualize a tad too much. Just stick to Prabhupadas teachings. Theyre simple for the simple so keep it simple. Will ya huh?

"Krishna samsara, guru samsara, guru eva samsara" sounds off.
