If you have suffered how can someone relate to you?

Sometimes I get irritated by the well intentioned good advice of other devotees. They see I may be in a difficult situation and they give some advice. But I feel like they have no idea what I am going through and I just externally accept their advice but file it away in the category of "Not Practical" or "Thanks for trying" or "Wish you could understand."
I feel that even though they are older, have some more experience in bhakti, but quite frankly it was more easy for them. Many devotees come from a nice pious background, they took up bhakti and are doing nicely. They have no idea what I am going through and what I am struggling with.
Basically even though devotees are practicing for many years and maybe before I was born, I dont perceive in them a softness of heart that would make me confide in them.

It is normal to find patients in a hospital, keep trying, am sure Krishna will send to you the right and precise association.
