My father is sick ...

Health · asked by user [] · 2010-05-29 · 3 answers
Greetings.

My father is sick. It appears he has tonsilitis, and constipation. He is 63, otherwise in good health, he exercises a lot.
He is in a lot of pain. At night, he barely sleeps and has nightmares.
He swears and curses, he is very negative, cynical. (He is nominally an atheist.)
He wont go to see the doctor, and he is almost completely reluctant to take any home remedies.

I am not all that disturbed by the way he reacts to the illness. I wish to help him and at least get him to drink the herbal teas, take some ginger as a lozenge and other home remedies.
But he is very defiant and very negative.

Please give me some suggestions on what I could do to help him.

Thank you!

Give him antibiotics in a tea or something. They help atheists.

nightmares could indicate that he has trouble with the ghosts. If you put Prabhupada chanting japa anywhere in the house(very softly) the atmosphere will change so much you will not believe it.I have observed how my children react to hearing Srila Prabhupada chanting or lecturing since they were very small.it is amazing how they come down and become very peaceful after being exposed to pure shudha sattva sounds coming from our mp3 player.I have Srila Prabhupada playing into my ear whole night every night so that the last thing and the first thing in the morning I hear from his lotus lips.Guaranteed no nightmares,no disturbance,no fear,no anxiety,no cost.

Urine therapy is worth looking into even if it is discussing as it really helps with so many diseases and it costs nothing.Search for shivambhu or urine theraphy and you will see that it cures myriad of ailments. If you are interested I can send you some links.

I hope he gets better soon.
