How to be enthusiastic without being puffed up?

Sadhana · asked by user [] · 2010-11-12 · 2 answers
Hare Krishna.

How can (a beginner) be enthusiastic about the practice, without at the same time being puffed up?

And by "puffed up" I mean both proud, vain as well as as if full of hot air and no substance.

Thank you for your replies.

Enthusiasm comes either from someone who is enthusiastic, like an infection, or from the inner realization.
