If I cook a cake (made with grains) the day before ekadasi,is it still ok to eat it after ekadasi?

Philosophy · asked by user [] · 2010-11-18 · 3 answers
I heard somewhere that it is not ok to eat the grains prepared before the ekadasi after the ekadasi. The idea was that the grains get contaminated during the ekadasi and are therefore not to be eaten after the ekadasi.Would someone kindly shed some light on this issue?

Thank you

A sastric reference would be nice, but as far as I know, grains are contaminated only on Ekadasi. You can find this in the Ekadasi Mahatmya book that ISKCON sells at Krishna.com or Krishna Culture.
