How hard is it to start a preaching program?

The first steps are always the hardest. I tried to think of a way to make it easy:

I know of some people with fresh enthusiasm (and huge potential) that are being put down by their local temple inertia. I will tell them about this!!!user [19] · 2007-08-17

Problem is where you are going to invite them after they got interested.user [21] · 2007-08-17
I just saw it at planetiskcon.com and I sent it to all my friends... waiting for their reply and eager to start. If we do it I will post something at satoxi.com and I will let you know :)thank you Prabhu!!!

i can always invite them to the Sunday Feast at New Govardhana. Im more interested in going to them once they get interested and then having classes on Gita etc...
Id rather support lots of little groups in the different towns around here than try to get everyone to come to our place once a week.

I lived in NG, and some guests, personally told me they were invited and then they found the paying desk. I saw it with this little eyes.Another glory of the pay per service Sunday Feast.
I can tell you more, I started to get sponsors for the NG Sunday Feast, being determined to stop the charging. The TP told me to ask for 300 AU dollars (which is a lot, again vaishya-get-the-most-of-it).
I had a few sponsors (money in the bank) and the next Monday morning, the TP asked me for the money. Because I did not have it with me, he told me that it was a nice idea but nobody is taking proper care of it, so it has to be stopped. Besides, they had endevoured so much to establish the pay per click, I mean the pay per plate that they are not going to relinquish that.
And that finished my adventure.

PS: the fact that australian society is quite rich, gives more reasons to just sponsor the Sunday Feast and forget about vaishya schemes to maintain the Temple at any cost.user [24] · 2007-08-17
FYI - we dont charge for the feast at New Govardhana - its sponsored and has a different focus. I was talking about a specific temple in Perth that had a problem with a Sunday Feast program that was not effective.user [2] · 2007-08-17
Oh, that has changed. Its been a long time. Congrats. But I only wanted to put an example to show the "practicalities" of the vaishya mind engaged in KC.
