In any case you know the response Srila Prabhupada gives. Even if he can produce a little gold, Krishna produces mountains and planets filled with gold, THAT is God.

I know here people in Slovenia even who can make miracles, but they are completely tamasic. Some have visions of Holy Mary and Jesus, even they talk with them. But if you look more analytically in their life you can be sure that they are getting power from ghosts. Regarding the original question of whether or not Sai Baba can make gold ....Ive read that he was charged and taken to court in India for violating the Gold Control Act by producing gold necklaces out of thin air without the permission of a Gold Control Administrator.
Seems even GOD can get caught up in Indian bureaucracy.

It it immaterial and highly irrelevant if anyone can make gold. Nobody can make gold. Gold exists in existence already and was made by Krishna. Of course, some have the power to transfer objects from one place to the other, and this is nothing great.
Srila Prabhupada clearly says that a pure devotee will even reject riddhis and siddhis and any other mystical powers.
Both Sathya Sai Baba and Mata Amrutanandamayi are trapped in the last snare of Maya: Deluded beings who think they are God.
Lol, they cant even stop their nails from growing, or stop their bodies from ageing; and they are God? Lets focus on our pure love for Krishna. We want no powers.
