The Jaganatha Puri temple recently threw away all the days offerings-tons-just because a non-hindu was allowed to enter the temple.They also had special yagnas for purification.This is another extreme in India,as there are also devotees of krsna all over the world,whilst beef eating hindus are allowed in the temple as well as drunkards.

i know some western devotees who were inside and noone noticed...except for jaganat. And he didnt complain.

Best to make ghee yourself. That in itself is an act of service and you know it was made with devotion with no contamination.

The butter that you buy also contains traces of hormones/fertilisers/pesticides and who knows :mad cows disease due to the feeding of cows with slaughterhouse rejects,together with the fear chemicals from slaughtered cows in case the butter also is adulterated with fat!
The answer would be -Prabhupadas dream!- to create self sufficient villages,where all devotee food is produced organically.As its the fashion now to by such food,its also good business.Otherwise well be eating more and more contaminated food,as the food industry giants are out to make maximum money,at any cost.
