Is bhakti under the modes better than no bhakti at all?

because in some cases bhakti in passion leads to fights and everything gets spoiled.

Cheating process is always worse, but not natural occurrences due to the modes while you advance; then it is called karma-mishra bhakti, jnana-mishra-bhakti.(mixed). You find in Isopanisad that ignorance is better than so called spirituality.
