Damodar Mandir, Vrindavan

Philosophy · asked by user [] · 2007-10-01 · 5 answers
Srila Prabhupad mostly stayed at Damodar Mandir in Vrindavan, wherefrom he completed most of his works before Raman Reti came up. Logically it should be converted into a museum by ISKCON. HIS room presently is in a most unattended/dialapidated state. It appears that Raman Reti is neglecting Damodar mandir. Why can we not spend something from our corpus for providing due regards to Prabhupad?

It does not belong to ISKCON. Recent courtcase with the owners of RDM allowed some limited access to the rooms.

Why can we not renovate even the space which is accesible to us? I understand that the room is under our control. I would be happy to have a response from Vrindavan authorities.

Hare Krishna Hari Bol,
The above site does not answer my inquisitiveness Prabhuji.Even Shril Prabhupad had stated his stay at RDM as memorable. My desire is only to respect his sentiments.

There are contacts for Vrindavan authorities you can write to. (I havent seen any of them posting here.)
