Symbols on Krishnas Lotus Feet

Philosophy · asked by user [] · 2007-07-25 · 7 answers
I need to send someone an explanation of the symbols on Krishnas lotus feet. Once again I need to print it and send them by post. I looked with google on the internet but could not find. Does anyone have the information? I know some books were printed, but I dont have those books nor can I send them the books.

There are some big differences in the descriptions.
For example: in Pada sevana explains in page 68 in sanskrit vallih means vid and in the Miller dictionary says "twig"

What is the authorized one?

Vid is probably a misspelled/misscanned vine.

still the question remains.. which one is bonafide, Pada sevana or Millers sanskrit dictionary?

In my CZ translation of RC I used a "blooming twig" since on the pic of Sri Radha Pada are such blooming twigs. So Miller fits better.

Btw, which Miller? Dont remember such dictionary. Do you mean Monier?
