During the course of history, from the pure teachings of Jesus, who belonged to the Essenes Sect, living just like Vaisnavas, there have been many kinds of institutions in order to accomodate different kinds of practitioners:
1.Monasteries,only for men.
2.Convents,for women.
3.City churches, for preaching to city dwellers.
4. Country churches,for villages.
Wouldnt it be a good idea to create also such different types of institution,in order to accomodate different types of vaisnavas...The usual type of Iskcon temple is mixed gender temple,or empty temple-for Sunday feasts only, farms and city preaching centres of indefinite purposes..And the result is that no qualified preachers are being formed,as they are engaged in so many activities that use all their time.
Monastery type should be run by a sannyasi, and brahmacaris only, where they can study deeply the scriptures, fulltime,in a peaceful environment, without having to collect funds or preach yet. After fully qualified, with written exams, they can be recommended to be sent to open centres around the world. The profits from BBT should be able to finance such institution,of great importance,or sponsored by wealthy devotees or businessmen.
Such institution for female devotees could also be created, mainly for widows, and unmarried matajis. They can teach many subjects, like cooking, veg life, basic philosophy in schools etc....
Vedic farms or villages can be run by grhastas,as such places include farming/small businesses, small temple, gurukula, cows and so is excellent for community living.Elderly devotees should also be included, after a lifetime of service!
Preaching centres in town, open only during the day,can be run by anyone qualified, and they can go back to the village for peaceful rest.

Great if in an utopian way we could all get along but birds of a feather tend to flock together.user [179] · 2007-11-29

May I suggest also, though it exists already[festival of India?],permanent travelling yatras or caravans, that will continously preach from city to city, crossing frontiers and help to install Gaura-Nitai worship all over the world. In rich countries, the caravans are motorised, while in poorer countries, better to have bullock carts.Such yatras would attract youths and those who feel eternal youth, keen for adventure[spiritual]Preaching by modern music is also good, though not my favourite, but it does attract youths in western countries.

These things will come with the spread of Krishna Consciousness and Sanatana Dharma. Cities will be made according to the directions in the Vedas. I heard this in a Bhagavatam class one time. If someone has an idea to start something right away and works it out with the temple presidents or gbc Im sure it would be alright.
