Vedabase fonts problem

Tech · asked by user [] · 2008-02-15 · 6 answers
Does anybody know, why in my Vedabase 2003 some sanskrit fonts display well but some not? (please see attached images). I tried to run that "Refresh fonts" function from installation CD, but it didnt help. All required fonts are properly installed in Win XP fonts folder. Thank you for help.

You have not installed your fonts (yet).

Try reinstalling or manually installing the fonts in the fonts folder. It happens... you can always call BA customer support... they will guide you...

I had the same problem. However, I followed the advise given by CCD prabhu (manually installing the fonts in the fonts folder: open the Fonts folder in your installation CD, select all of the Font in this folder, right click, and select the Install button. Dont forget to close the Vedabase program and restart it.), This problem has thoroughly disappeared! Thanks, CCD prabhu!

Hare Kuc0u7771 u7779 u7751 a Anupatha du257 sa!

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to u346 ru299 la Prabhupu257 da!

This problem is usually the fonts not being installed, or simply your preferences within Folio Views. There is a setting for which kind of font and font size you want to see in the left pane.
You might want to check that too. Tools->options. It should be ScaGoudy, 12.

With Love,
