Can a person preach separated from ISKCON authority line and have success?

I remember reading a letter from Srila Prabhupada to a devotee that could not be under the GBC due to personal disagreements and HDG authorized him.
Now that Srila Prabhupada cannot intervene like this, what should that devotee do?

That is a good question, but the answer is quite simple: Yes.
It has been done many times before. For example, I am very familiar with the world-wide preaching done by Tripurari Swami. I know quite a few of his disciples from several countries (even as I am not in his sanga) and they are all very nice devotees.
One can also reverse the question a bit: is GBC approval relevant in preaching? I live in a Vaishnava community independent from GBC (Prabhupada Village, North Carolina) and I see absolutely no benefit to subjecting our community to GBC oversight. We have many devotees living here who have earned far more respect (at least in the eyes of our residents) than most current GBCs. Our rural community made more devotees in the last 10 years than most Iskcon temples in North American big cities.
