... in relation with Krishna consciousness, I am sure everyone has at least one :)
user [12] · 2007-07-30
One time I sat to chant near to one of our ISKCON sannyasis. Without giving too much information, he is known for his sometimes strange behavior. I sat a respectful distance away and hoped he wasnt going to do anything too strange. As I was chanting I felt a sensation of laughter in my mind or body. It was rising and rushing up in my body and increasing in a huge way. It was increasing to the point where i could a perceive a laughter or happiness which was thousands of times more than I could bear in this body. I was trying to experience it then it disappeared. It all happened in a second or so. It was subtle but real. There is reality way beyond what we can experience in this body.

I have another one but I am not sure if I should share it which actually brought me to Krishna Consciousness.

I heard such unbelievable things from others that I wonder how much more no one is even willing to share... ;)
user [19] · 2007-07-30
Do ghost attacks count as mystical? :)
user [2] · 2007-07-30
do not worry, Prabhus,... you can safely reveal them to me, now that nobody is listening :)
user [2] · 2007-07-30
no, Abhiram, that is just bad luck
user [19] · 2007-07-30
VEDA was first so...
user [38] · 2007-07-30
Ok, if you wish...

Yamadutas are scary...

while Sri Nrsimhadevas protection is blissfully comforting:

Some devotees were meeting Krishna face to face, not just in the dream. And so on...
user [2] · 2007-07-30
we are after YOUR personal experiences, Prabhu, come on
user [2] · 2007-07-30
OK, you cowards, Ill take a dive...

When I was very young, probably 14 yrs old, I had some experiences with the chanting.

One of them was at a beach, night time.

I was with a group of friends and we were chanting Hare Krishna at the top of our lungs.

Suddenly I started to see things and people around me in a very different way, like all very beautiful and people very special. The moon was big in the sky and I remember having a peace and loving feeling, that I never had again.
user [19] · 2007-07-30
Ok mine:
Once in India I took a riksha and the driver charged me the normal rate without asking for more!
user [2] · 2007-07-30
abhiram, that one nobody will believe...
user [38] · 2007-07-30
Mishraji, Im not that kind of exhibitionist. Not good for false ego, imho. One thing I have shared in detail only with my closest friend. It involved a cure during the sleep thru a shaktipat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaktipat). Ill just add that it boosted my interest in interreligious studies.

Abhiram, youve got something. ;)
user [2] · 2007-07-30
You dont have to go into personal details, besides your identity is kept private.

I think sharing these can boost our faith based on practical experience. But, yes... I am an exhibitionist :)
user [18] · 2007-07-30
Once I heard the chakra sounds. I was taking rest, then woke up and suddenly I heard like a mrdanga drum (difficult to explain).

Puzzled, i even looked under my bed to see where that sound was coming! But no radio, no music, in fact there was quiet and silent.

Later, somebody told me the sounds of the heart chakra are mrdanga like.

Another time, in the wild, chanting Hare Krishna out loud, when I stopped I heard like a flute playing a few notes, it might be same thing.
user [72] · 2007-07-30

Once I was in a very deserted place (of course with my parents). Suddenly I heard someone chant very loudly: HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE...
(in a very melodious and sweet voice) So I asked my parents if they heard that, but they didnt hear a sound...

I was very shocked... But of course it is always nice to hear the mahamantra

so i was inside my friends house whos a devotee actually, he was recently caught up when i arrived there inside to his room, i remember i mean by God'b4s willing i think that we where really mystically inclined in our ways so he was encountering it all up with krsna consciousness almost everything in his life, but mines is simple i remember i opened my eyes inside his room where we where actually just like chilling and chatting very smooth as we where of weeks speaking of God.. as i remember i did just opened my eyes in his room once really like to the reality of the spirit which i was really related to the thing is that i saw the spiritual spark, on sitting inside his forehead and it was transcendental.. glowing golden bright lights and rays from his head i was .. yes, yes... soul.. yes is soul.. i can see and it began to become sharper a and sharper minute point of light, which i do remember i argued with him that the soul might be in the heart he said and i was saying not to is param'e4tma cause Ive seen is sitting in the forehead of everyone, so it depends whether i make my point through experience, or so, because when i saw this infinitesimal spark of light, i started to see how it was like, hanging by the other energy called the brahm element and those infinitesimal fine rays of light of which the soul get its support actually and to this world of matter so when i saw this really long minutes long so, that i could keep going in detail.. and i saw my friend head like gazing so i could saw how the infinitesimal took a body and there was his shaved head,. so i started to sight everything from that point i remember i once started seeing the soul i just surrendered completely to the sighting and it appeared to me like i been seeing that on eternity the soul actually received that body emanation through this brahm the element, and i suddenly understood his head, so that this halo which i sometimes see depicted on the pandavas helmets and almost every divine soul'b4s got naturally adorned. and how does the soul accepts a boy and everything i really understood it through this sight. i will not forget not even now the red light of that soul world of which we all make part off naturally.

i'b4ve almost been completely in trance ever since i could saw this. so thats one,.. Ive got others too, but spiritually mystical experience which i think do lasts is with Krsna, sometimes there are other type of hallucinations but and drugs they are material, spiritually is Krsna consciousness for shure.

like the magic mushrooms calls and sounds arrownd the ether calling your name and stuff, which i kinda let them go..

Hari Bol !

I got fed up totally once with doing the pick-selling records/k7-after marathon and left everything and everyone, and just left like a crazy man-in dhoti-on the road to nowhere!I could have taken some laksmi with me,but I left everything, and started to chant on the road, and when the sun set, I realised my madness, but still I didnt wish to carry on selling things.
Then, suddenly, a hundred franc note flew from nowhere and landed near my feet!As I was on a deserted road,it couldnt be from buildings or people. So,with the laksmi,I took a train to the ashram,,where i was given an office service.

Before meeting devotees, I also practiced yoga, and meditated on "Om namo bhagavate Vasudevaya"and after intense meditations, i could feel my heart chakra moving like a lotus:how wonderful it was to experience this! The process was working and I was going up into other higher chakras-between the eyes, and the feeling of peace really is wonderful...

I also read about how to get out of the body in a book: fasting is required, and you should lie down flat on the back and breathe slowly, preferably at night,in a quiet place. I did this and I got out of my body and went through the closed window and I could feel I was sliding like a light plane over the countryside:I even landed on a tree.Having no place to go, I decided to come back and it was as if a hand is put in a glove, and I was united again with my body.Such experience confirmed the truth of spiritual books, and I continued my search till I was guided to Srila Prabhupadas shelter.

Once, I also had jets of tears from my eyes,as described in nectar of devotion, and my body trembled all over....In spite of these realisations, though, I still fall into maya sometimes!

I know we are not supposed to reveal these intimate realisations to all,but my name is a pseudo! :)If this helps those who doubt about the guidance of Srila Prabhupada, then its positive,as I firmly believe He gave us the best way for realising Krsna Consciousness, but we have to sacrifice all our time and energy in order to acheive the goal. Those who will always have a foot in the material world and the other in the spiritual will never experience anything great.
user [166] · 2007-11-05
I am extremely reluctant to reveal this in a public forum and have only told one very close devotee friend about this...I write this solely for the reason that others may be inspired to chant quality Japa.

I was sitting alone chanting very intensely one day, concentrating as hard as I have ever done in the past....then suddenly out of nowhere there came an overwhelming feeling of separation from Krsna (as a friend)...hard to describe it exactly but it was very sudden and very intense...like thinking of a very close friend that you miss but 1000 times that feeling...then suddenly I felt tears running down my cheeks, uncontrollable crying... but nothing that I have ever experienced before...very hard to explain...not happy (in the material sense) and not sad - just a very blissful feeling like nothing Ive felt since joining the movement 18 years ago.

Then as quickly as it came it disappeared...it left me feeling stunned and thinking "Did that really just happen?"....it only occurred once but it gave me great faith and determination for quality Japa.

If this mercy can be bestowed upon such a rascal as myself, then it is only a short time that separates these experiences being bestowed on devotees around the world.

Sathiya, this is how Shri Krishna Paramatma encourages others to act on behalf of His devotees and reciprocates for the same in the form of ajnata sukriti. See http://www.veda.harekrsna.cz/bhaktiyoga/devotee-stories.htm#5

well im new to KC.but go to the temple anytime they have anything open to the public.
from the last puja till now,the smell of the temple incense and the flower i smelled offerd
to krishna fills my room or anyplace i am.it not everyday but it happens often.wat does this mean?
user [179] · 2007-11-16
for example when the ointment is aplayed in the hand when some visnupriya or the same pujari starts passing through all places ointing the right hand of the devotees its something that i will carry with me until it lasts at its ends, it is beautiful when i am found thinking about lord Nrsimha, i used to get sticked to my hand because i feel is the deities presence is a very beautiful gift from the Deity, that i know it is transcendental which we carry home in our hands from the temple place.

so for example that means we go protected.

hari bol, jaya.

Dear Peace of Mind, that is also what happens to me. I know that when I come home from the temple I smell of the incense but then days later I get a whiff of it everywhere I go. I lady I know (at work) she gives me expensive incense she and her husband bring back from India, she tells me that she gives it because she can smell it in the whole office after that. If she keeps it at her desk she cant smell it. I just realized how weird that is
user [38] · 2007-11-17
If she burns it, she cant smell it?
user [179] · 2007-11-17
>to your words; if smell it, she can burn it then : )
user [40] · 2007-11-17
No you cant burn it at work she brings it in to smell it only.

I once heard Lord Jagannathas ankle bells after I had just performed aratika to Him. What happenned was that I helped an old friend realize his desire to liberate (steal) an unfinished murti from a farm community. After we cooked glubjummons and offered them as maha preasadam, I had heard what sounded to me like ankle bells. I took this to mean that Lord J had just left the room because he was displeased with our misbehavior and disapproved of our actions.

I am always hearing someone calling my name, what does that mean?
user [2] · 2008-05-10

Great, Pandu Prabhu. Here is a kind of classic among devotee mystic experiences:

I was one afternoon alone at the temple hall chanting Japa, and after finishing one round I took my beads out of the bead
bag and for about 5 seconds several fluorescent orange (rounded) particles were circling my beads.
I was amazed to see the brightness of the color. I guess my concentration on the chanting must have awkened
a chackra. I ve never had that experience again.
