Can we put Turban on Lord Rama?

once a devotee said that lord Rama wears turban sometimes in Ayodhya.

If you go to Ayodhya you will see it. Is there anything that stops Rama wearing what He wants? In fact we worship Rama as a king, so to put turban on the king is not against that mood. I hope you are not suggesting that it does. Main point of worship is to please the Lord in his mood, not to be historically accurate.
