Touch and Non-touch versions.

Or you can go here:

The Vendor Tequlia Cat, is the ebook maker I used. If you check properties. Youll also find Bhagavatam Mobile. I have to say they are amamzing to read especially on my touch phone. It has auto scrolling if you want it, bookmarking, even searching!, everything youll need its here.

Heres a question. Are these supposed to be able to work on my BlackBerry 8130? My browser opens the .jar files to display a bunch of garbled text.

Generally they work on most mobile phones, I think you are using a Windows Mobile Phone or Smartphone. In this case its not exactly a pure Java Phone.

I think you have Windows Mobile 6, but try downloading a Java Environment:

I tried this when I had a Windows Mobile Phone with no Java Support. It works okay.

I just noticed that the page said something about "for java enabled phones," so I turned on the java in my browser. (Many web pages are very slow with java turned on.) The second Bhagavad-gita file worked for me! Amazing! Im so happy about this. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to navigate (press the trackball for options), but actually its extremely well done. Im very impressed.

One improvement would be if there was a way to have the main program separate from the data. On BlackBerry phones, installed programs reside on the internal memory, which, prior to the Bold (including mine, a Pearl 8130), are way too small. Therefore I cant really download the Srimad Bhagavatam files because it would take up too much memory. However, if theres a way to put the data on the microSD card, we could put the everything on there just fine.

Also thanks to Admin for keeping this here at least long enought for me to get the program to work.

I saw this on a Forum: on the Net:

Any suggestion regarding how to transfer/store new applications on media card in BB Curve 8310! Many medical softwares are available for BB; but I do not want to overcrowd baseline low internal memory of BB 8310 by storing them over there. I already did a chat with at & t technical support. As per them, it is not possible. But it is hard to believe. Will appreciate any input. I know how to trasnfer media files.

Reply:
In BlackBerry you cant save any application in media card. AT&T support team is right as there is no such provision by RIM.

Google: blackberry store apps in external memory

So you want to put the text in external memory and have the app launch from internal memory, VERY clever. Its like having Microsoft Word Mobile on a USB Card and Launching. Good concept.

I could make Bhagavatam in bitesize chunks. 100Kb each, 1 Canto in 7 Parts. I know some phones dont let you donwload more than 100Kbs etc. Give me time to do it..........!
