What is web 2.0?

I am seeing the term daily on the net, can somebody please explain it in plain english?

I think it is just a name for community driven websites.

I didn't like that video too much. I think Web 2.0 means interactive websites which behave as you would expect your GUI graphical programs to react. The webpage knows where your mouse is, etc. This is opposed to simply clicking on text links. So you can draw and do stuff online.
