I found this interesting article:
http://www.chakra.org/discussions/WomenNov29_02_02.html
and would like to know if it was better then, or changes have been actually positive, according to time and circumstances

Were women more or less feminist in Prabhupadas times?user [69] · 2007-07-31
From my personal experience of living in temples since 1974, women were initially treated better in ISKCON but then things got worse from the late seventies forward. In the late nineties the issue was addressed and now I think things are slowly getting better.user [343] · 2010-12-15

Being in a female body myself, I think it is the women themselves who promote the most misogynistic views and behaviors.Someone even said once that nobody can hate a woman as much as another woman.
My experience with female devotees has been kind of like highschool - with all the cliques, gossip and such ...
I think the whole thing is so much sadder because we tend to naturally expect that women would be the kinder, gentler sex, so any rudeness on their part strikes as even more rude than if it came from a man.
