Sorry, but I dont understand. Can you give an example of when this is done? I can take some guesses, but I rather not.user [22] · 2009-03-16
For example, "smoking a lot is not good, but just a little, what is the problem"? "Besides, you have to try everything" (my context is teenager peers, btw)user [366] · 2009-03-16
Never thought about it. This comes up in my mind though. "When you scratch the itch, youre going to make the rash bigger."

Quantity is not the important here, there are some things that are bad for you and things that are good. An intelligent person chooses to do the good things and avoid the bad ones.user [19] · 2009-03-18

It is ME who is making the decision.
But then you are in a party, it is saturday and they offer you a little pill. You have it in your hand and your "friend" says: you have to try everything and anyway it is just on saturdays that we do this. Some years later you are smoking marihuana everyday because it makes you feel less rajasic and helps you evade from the problems in life. Then you have to go to work, you now work at the beach selling ice creams. The problem is that you are 40.

Nothing is good or bad; only thinking makes it so.
