Tamil Saiva saints - how to see them?

Haribol everyone
I am very much curious if anyone can shed light on how to see Tamil bhakti saints of Tamilnadu from a Vaishnava standpoint. There are 63 Nayanmar saints, Pamban Swami, and others who have practiced intense bhakti similar to Vaishnava acharyas ( example Vrindaban Goswamis) towards Lord Siva and Lord Muruga.
Bhagavad Gita clearly states that worshipping demigods is less intelligent. Reading how these saints lived their lives, I will be surprised if they qualify as less intelligent. They have shown immense love and bhakti towards Lord Siva and Muruga sacrificing everything just to serve them in a humble mood of servant. As an aspiring Vaishnava, their lives are greatly inspiring and teaches all the values that are taught by our Vaishnava saints. However, the only difference is they say Lord Siva is the Parabrahman and Lord Muruga the son of Siva.
Perhaps these Siva devotees go to Mahesh Dham and reside there forever?
Any thoughts and insights will be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, Lord Krsna certainly did say that all paths lead to him =D. So I say let them worship Lord Siva, or you can take a chance to establish the Srimad Bhagavatam as the topmost pramana. I couldnt do it, I dont have the influentual power like that. Probably best to pray to the spiritual masters for help if you try.

Siva is not a deva but siva-tattva. Hanuman is his amsa, so why not Murugan? Any quotes appreciated.user [391] · 2009-05-07
Actually what i find interesting about lord shiva is his special vaisnava moods and almost boundless compassion for his devotees.Thou many times they are actually very materialistic he gradually purifies them. Many times it is a long drawn out process because they seem to be more demons than devotees. But through their intense attachment to him eventually they progress in pleasing him.His mysterious sublime devotional attitude means that as the supreme vaisnava he has his devotional service and his own sampradaya. Both durga and shiva though the supreme energies of the material sphere are infact pleased to bless the sincere devotee in his progressive march ,back home back to godhead.Further when i first jioned iskcon i was infact very attracted to lord shiva ...finding krishna difficult and almost unattractive because of my mode of ignorance situation within the modes of material nature.Hence the wonderful mercy and intended attractive nature of lord shiva especially for those intent on staying captivated within maya.your servant yuga_avatar_das
