scriptural reference sought

Philosophy · asked by user [] · 2009-10-16 · 5 answers
Hare Krishna.
Can any dear devotee here provide scriptural reference(s) where Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has instructed us to chant the name of Radha and Krishna?
Thank you.

Haribol!
Thank you for the Cb. reference.

Caitanya Mahaprabhu is always in radha-bhava, always crying in separation from Krishna, just as Radharani cries in separation from Krishna, yet He instructs us to chant the names of both Krishna and Radha. Can you explain this at all?

Just a question. Does Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu chant the Holy name of Sri Radha in His Si Jagannath Puri Separation Lila or only in His Sri Navadwip Yuga Dharma Harinam Lila?
The two lilas are quite distinct.

When Mahaprabhu is in the mood of Radharani, he chants the mahamantra with a different meaning (as he will not chant his own/Radhas name), in this case he would chant it reffering to the three names of Krishna: Krishna, Rama and Hari.

Yes, that sounds clear. Mahaprabhu spent the last 18 years of his manifested pastimes in Jagannath Puri, staying in that room Gambhira, feeling separation from Krishna. Crying in separation from Krishna. But when He was doing his acarya-lila, the mood was different. Interesting.
