Thus there are many kinds of Karma Yoga, which are spread out for the attainment of the Brahman. That means, they lead to the
realisaion of the true nature of the individual self. Know that all these are forms of Karma Yoga, which have been previoulsy defined and diversified, as born of actions. That means, know them as resulting from occasional and obligatory rites performed day by day. Knowing thus, observing them in the manner prescribed, you will be released. It has been stated that actions have the form of knowledge because of the inclusion of knowledge in them. Now Sri Krsna explains the predominance of the component of knowledge in such actions which include knowledge within themselves.

evam (ukta-prakAreNa) brahmaNaH (vedasya) mukhe bahu-vidhAH yajJAH vitatAH (vistRtAH), tAn sarvAn karma-jAn (na tu jJAna-jAn) viddhi, evaM (evaM prakAraM) jJAtvA vimokSyase (mukto bhaviSyasi).

jJAna-yajJaM stotum uktAn yajJAnupasaMharati -- evaM bahu-vidhA iti. brahmaNo vedasya mukhe vetatA vedena sAkSAd-vihitA ity arthaH, tathApi tAn sarvAn vAN-manaH-kAya-karma-janitAnAtma-sva-rUpa-saMsparZa-rahitAn viddhi jAnIhi. AtmanaH karmaNo gocaratvAt, evaM jJAtvA jJAna-niSThaH san saMsArAd-vimukto bhaviSyasi.

Visvanatha Cakravarti:

Thus many types of sacrifice have been described in the Vedas. Know that they are all based on actions of body, mind and words. Knowing this, you will be liberated.

BrahmaNaH means the Vedas. The phrase vitatA brahmaNo mukhe whose literal meaning is '93spread in the mouth of the Vedas'94 actually means '93clearly spoken of by the Vedas themselves.'94 Karma-jAn means based on the actions of the body, mind and words.

These many sacrifices are spread in the mouth of the Vedas (brahmaNaH). This means that these sacrifices are clearly described by the Vedas, the mouth of the Lord, which present the means of understanding the real self. Know that these sacrifices are all born from activities of the body, mind and words (karma jAn). Understanding (jJAtvA), that is, practicing these sacrifices described by the Vedas as means of attaining AtmA and the Lord, on seeing both AtmA and paramAtmA by realization that arises from that practice, you will be liberated from saMsAra.

Onkar: And secondly how come the word brahman means Vedas?

The word brahman means the supreme. And vedas are called sabda brahman which means brahman in the form of sound. So Brahman can be translated as Vedas because Vedas are sabda-brahman. Please see the verse B.Gita 6.44:

u347 abda-brahmu257 tivartate

Here in this verse the word sabda-brahma is used for vedas.
